Belly on the Bridge - Week 32

This is a combo shot; showcasing E on the Ponte de Dom Luis I in Porto, sporting a 32nd week pancia, and highlighting our trip this past weekend. E wanted to do some traveling before we are city bound here in Ferrol during the late stages of the pregnancy, so we jaunted down to Porto last Friday. Good eats, great views and she was a trooper; hoofing it up and down from the bridge.

Bella Making Sounds

We both swear that we can hear 'snapping' noises coming from the belly area. E had told me, and I couldn't believe it, then I heard it myself. Weird, wonderful stuff.

Bella in 4D - Again

She was resting this time, though the Doc was telling us that appears she likes to gnaw on her umbilical cord. She's healthy and growing, up to 1.35kg. We're still thinking she'll be born in the teens of September

Week 29 Belly Shot (special Beach Edition)

Here's E. Tube top, on; short shorts, on; fun blue hat, check; #30 sunscreen so Bella can get some warmth but not freckle too badly, double check!

Revisiting Names

Even though we're sure, we're going to revisit names this weekend. Of course, the last time we went through the names list I had a few Chardonnay's and my choices got increasingly bizarre toward the end of the alphabet. Also, subconciously, I seem to like all the French names. In fact, we both like them, but since neither of us has any major French stake, it seems silly to go with a French name.

We've gone to the beach the last two Saturdays; after all, its only 10 minutes over the mountain....err big hill. The belly enjoys the sun and I even was able to snap a belly shot in E's full beach attire. Who would have thought that a tube top would lend itself to pregnant women so well. Once I get them uploaded, I'll post it. And I'll include a normal belly shot, with a normal maternity dress. The difference is substantial. E was complaining last night as we walked through town to dinner that she doesn't even look that pregnant, but she's just become accustomed to her look.
