Rolly Rollerson
Bianca loves her rolling over. From tummy to back and back to tummy; she rolls constantly. She gets up on her hands, and slightly up on her knees, sees something out of her reach and because she hasn't figured out crawling - she only knows rolling - she tries to roll her way towards it. She usually just manages to slowly turn herself in a circle with consecutive rolls, but I think she'll be crawling within weeks.
Her adjustment to solids is going ok. Some days she eats almost everything Ewa has prepared, other days she has 5 bites and is done. She's gone through carrot, squash, zucchini, leek, eggplant, green beans and now acelga (swiss chard) without any adverse reactions. She's had chicken and veal and starts on turkey soon. She's had banana, apple and pear on the fruity side.
She fell asleep on her tummy the other day. She was so mad about not wanting to take her nap that she rolled back and forth before finally falling asleep on her tummy. She's figured out that the slats on her crib can be used for pulling herself up, so very soon we are going to have to drop the mattress.
She still enjoys her baths and is as splashy as ever. She's been enjoying her time at the daycare center, we guess, no real emotional outbursts and she even fell asleep there today. She follows dogs and pigeons with her eyes and loves other kids, especially ones moving around the square on bikes, skateboards, rollerblades, or just running and kicking balls. She tends to seek people out to make eye contact.
Her upper teeth must be close because she woke up screaming at 3:30 Saturday night, Sunday morning and barely slept from then until Sunday evening, when she promptly went down for 11hrs without a peep.
