General Update

Our little angel continues to sleep 10 or 11hrs at a stretch. She usually rolls over onto her belly to fall asleep. We've lowered her crib to the next setting to prevent any out-of-crib excursions.
She's eating really well. She still lunges for the breasts after her bath like a tiger, but she knows she's not getting breast milk in the middle of the day; and therefore heartily enjoys her meals.
She's been going to the guarderia for up to 2.5hrs. The girls working there told Ewa that Bianca requires lots of attention in the afternoon, which forced Ewa to stifle her sarcasm, lest she respond too callously. But the time away has allowed Ewa to resume her Spanish lessons and she so enjoys them.
She's started to move on her hands and knees.... backwards, but its a start.
And she's recently added a hard 'G' to her vocabulary; finally exhibiting the classic, if cliched, 'ga ga ga'.
When she and Ewa wave me goodbye in the morning she has this bemused look on her face as if to say "I know something is expected of me here; a laugh, a smile, some vocalization, or this funny hand gesture Mommy and Daddy are making (as Ewa and I madly wave in baby-style - or eerily, Italian style - with all four fingers patting our palms), but I'm just going to play dumb." Soon, soon, she will wave; on purpose. She must!
